(1)hundred，thousand，million等基数词作定语，前面有数词以及many，several等词修饰时，用单数形式，后面直接跟复数名词。如：Two hundred old people died of cold last winter. 去年冬天200名老人被冻死。
(2)hundred，thousand，million前面没有数词而后面有of时，表示数量之多，用它们的复数形式加of短语。如：hundreds of dollars数百美元;millions of ants数百万蚂蚁。
