(1)“A+形容词或副词的比较级+than + any other +单数可数名词/any of the other+复数名词/the others / any of the others.”表示“A比同一范围的任何一个人/物都……”，含义是“A最……”。例如：
The Yangtze River is the longest river in China.
=The Yangtze River is longer than any other river in China.
=The Yangtze River is longer than any of the other rivers in China.
=The Yangtze River is longer than the other rivers in China.
(2)“否定词+比较级”，“否定词+ so…as”结构也可以表示最高级含义。例如：
Nothing is so easy as this. 没比这更简单的了。
=Nothing is easier than this.
=This is the easiest thing.
